The official "What did you do while the board was down?" thread

What did you get done?

I got 2nd gear working in my Wildcat :3gears:

I've been messing with my parent's old car I pulled out of a junkyard, and it wouldn't shift out of 1st. Since the board was down, I figured out that I didn't have good vacuum going to it.

I moved the location of the hose, and volia, all was better!

 

I seriously thought about entering rehab since I was jonesing for the board so bad.Anyone else check every 10 to 20 minutes to see if it was back up?

 

BCA Board

I spent my time over at the Buick Club of America Board :Brow:

 

I must have checked about 5 or 6 times a day to see if it was up yet.

 

I flew to North Carolina and bought a Buick. :grin:

 

I started to install the subframe connectors and cal-tracs. Ran into a snag removing the leaf pockets and had to go to stevesnovasite for help :rant:



btw...they're not as helpful there

 

spent my time over at buickland, the members chat area is alot of fun

 

Spent time on the NSCA site, the Mopar boards and the Olds board.
Glad to see it back up!!!

 

Finished up my F-111 PAVE TACK repaint and special effects for my Microsoft Flight Simulator.

 

i bought another buick. i picked up a 69 skylark to go along with my 68. same color and everything! was this a good use of my time? :3gears:

 

I installed my roof rail and door weather stripping, adjusted my brakes, installed a new master cylinder, mounted my fire extinguisher, replaced the EGR valve on my dad's Caddy and fixed my wifes BMW Oh...and spent a bunch of time over at the BPG and Buickland fourms. :TU:

 

Got new wipers, good set of tires-replaced the old, and now did a "do-it-yourself" oil change and now the cars rollin good now...at least it's alot more reliable...and while I was withdrawn from V8 being down I hanged out at BPG forum :TU:

 

I spent the week with Johnny Walker, remembering the "good 'ole days on the the Board"

 

cleaned up the shop and got all my wayward tools collected. Wore out the refresh button on the laptop trying to figure out what was going on at the site. Washed the 66 and promptly blew the soot out of the ol gal.

Can you post some interior photos as well ?

Is it a regular 225 model, because I don't see any script on the sail panel ?

my truck moved out of the drive way a few extra times as well uzzled:
i guess there is a bit more to life than the great V8 BUICK board :Comp:
