Don't get me wrong Jason, I'm happy for the city of New Orleans and the Saints. I'm a big Purdue fan so I'm happy Drew won and got MVP. But it's the media and bandwagoners that have been driving me up the wall. And of course when my favorite team loses there's also disappointment there. I just figure talking about it here is better than yelling and throwing things somewhere else.

you got to admit though, the passes that Manning and Brees ( both of them ) were completing in the first half could NOT have been done better by ANY quarterback at ANY time. 6" beyond the fingertips of the defender, into the hands of the receiver in stride and with double coverage behind them.

It is still quite surreal here in Biloxi. It seems like everyone wearing black and gold has a permanent crap eating grin on their face including me. Wow, my scotch reserves will have to be replenished after this weekend!:beer

 

Tim,didn't know you were in town man. I would have saved some BBQ for you. Did you have a nice visit so far?

 

It was a great game. Scarey in the first quarter, followed by domination in the latter part. But the Saints defense sucks, so it was always in question until the last minute and a half.

That onside kick after the first half was out of the blue for me. Pure guts by the Saints. And their pure determination was what made it happen for them. My .02.

 

It was a worriesome game for me.People were asking me why I was not going insane when the saints made the interception and I told them "It's the Saints."

How you been doing Mike? I have been meaning to call you,but have just not gotten around to it,sorry.

 

Been a pretty good trip so far, but heading back today. Gotta take the wife out to eat and get her a gift for our anniversary and Valentines day. Anniversary was the 10th but she had to work, so we just roll them into the weekend normally. I did have plenty of food where I was though, but will try to make it down again for Cruisin this year as usual and probably once or twice in between. Geaux Saints! Who Dat!? :beers2:

That's just what I was thinking.I told everyone sitting at my house at the bar not to say crap or else they were gonna jinx us. they didn't care Man I haven't been on the board since that last post. Mardi Gras started right before and lasted another week after the game. Boy have we been in hog heaven. Got to see the victory parade. 800k w/ no police in riot gear shooting rubber bullets or teargas. No fires or vandalism.

Well the truth is out just like I said they had a dirty program and when Payton busted his knee on the sideline it was the greatest moment of the season last year. NFL finds Saints coaches put bounty on players!!
