I'll bet that car was done back in the `70's or early 80's. Might have looked cool back then (at least to someone) but has now dated itself. It also has the first design BFGoodrich Radial TA's on it leading me to believe it's been sitting somewhere, perhaps in this museum, for a long time. At least they didn't put lace on it.
It smells fishy to me. This is street machine stuff out of Hot Rod and Popular Hot Rodding. Check the numbers, look at the paperwork and ask lots of the correct questions. Caviet Emptor!
Wow, I like that the information at the display says Grand Sport. I wonder if I can buy it with cloned money?
.... and I don't see the issue. Obviously I'm not a GS expert. It looks like a nice car but are you saying the hood stripes are incorrect for a GSX? Color? Please educate me.
I was at Morrison back in mid September, this Blue car wasn't there but they do/did have a 71 GS 350 convertible, white, black top/interior that looked decent. They showed me around and have several large storage areas with lots and lots of muscle cars. Seemed to be a realy nice dealership.
I see. Boy that's a bad stripe job. I am sure you experts noticed that it looks like they "overshot" the side stripe. On the yellow GSX it neatly starts at the front of fender like this (sort of) > On that blue one they shot right past it ----> =
Lace!!! Man that brings back memories!! I remember back in the early 70's when I was running around town there was a 383 Cuda that had lace all over it. It was blue and I have to admit it did look pretty good with the white lace job that was on it!!! Guess I am dating myself.
$35,900 in the Grand Sport sign, Also, what's going on with the kneeling mannequin near the back of the car ??? Frank
