vikings lose yes the vikings lost, but being a packer fan i realized how bad the packers defense was this year. we played the vikings 3 times this year and they practically moved the ball on us at will. do you packer fans think brett favre will come back next year? i think the packers were smart taking the gm job away from mike sherman.

Everyone at work is a Vikings fan (not sure why) and I'm a Packers fan. The difference between me and then, I go into watch every game EXPECTING the Pack to loose, especially with that defense. Vikes fans always seem to believe they are going to win. It went from "It'll be a scrimage for McNabb" on Monday to... "I'm feeling really confidant the Vikings are going to win" on Friday. Pleanty of people thought they could beat Philly, not a lot of Packers fans around here thought the Pack could top Minnesota three times in one season. I know I didn't. But it was good to see them get worked, and good to see Manning go down This year I've become a closet Manning disliker, put him on a team like Marino, Farve, and the other greats had and see what he does... Time will tell Another purple streak in the field.
It's been about 5 years since I felt like the Vikings would win on any given gameday. (until last week ) MN and GB were a lot alike this year, pretty darn good on offense, but defenses that leaked like a sieve. I don't see either team competing for the Super Bowl in the near future.

The pack needs to up their defense, hopefully by next year. It's always nice to see our western neighbors lose though. :laugh:
