Had a great time was a great event at Musclepalooza. That's what counts the most. Look at the 3 times I ran against the Nova and you give an opinion, I know nada. #114 first pass got me at the light 0.159 to a slow 0.282. 114 ran a 13.227 to my 13.69. #114 2nd pass 1st eliminator he ran 13.02 to my 13.39 His reaction 0.238 mine 0.123 I spun the tires. #114 Last run Treed me 0.110 to my 0.203. He ran at 12.757 to my 13.133. Do we see something here or is it me? almost 3 tenths is alot when it was hotter out. My car was pretty consistent and ran the best in the last round It was a blast and i will keep going all I did all weekend was put the tires to 20Lb's and ran it Sat and Sunday Opinions?
Philip, I beleive your raced Charlie Lambardi in his Chevelle. I don,t think he holds back on any of his run's.
Sorry guys, just my newbie no nothing thing. I did not mention any name on purpose, I just wanted to know. He was very nice and I love his car and said congrats everytime and complimented him. For sure he can drive that 4 speed, very imprresive. Guess I Might get him next time. LOL Too late to delete the post. Charlie, I apologize, I was and am very new at this after 30 years of road racing with SCCA. Gotta learn to ask and not talk. The board is the wrong place. MY BAD
That's how you learn!!:Brow: You have to admit it's not quite as simple as the Sports car guys like to believe, Eh? 99% of the guys on this site will bend over backwards to help you. Then they'll beat your brains out on the lights! It gets in your blood very quickly.....trust me and welcome to the insane asylum!:beers2:
Coming out second to someone that races all the time is just part of the learning experience. You can never cut them much slack.... and don't let off even though you think you may be ahead by an insurmontable lead. It can come back and bite you in the rear if you do. BTDT ~ and I still remember the lesson nearly 40 years later. ou:
