Here is my dilema, I have a 67 LeSabre w/ a 340, it runs decent for its age (still very peppy) however there is a guy in town w/a 72 skylark (runs 12's w/a 455, has a lot of experience w/Buicks and swapping 455s into bigger Buicks) is proddin me to get a 455 in it. What Im planning is a 455, 10:1 compression, light head porting, 30 over, mild cam, dual exhaust, 800-850 cfm carb to a 400 trans and finally to a something around 3:08 or maybe a little higher (highest I'm willing to go is 3:42s). The question is what should this sucker run in the quarter, my goal is at least 14's w/ it. Does this sound correct or somewhat outlandish?

    Thanks for any help,
    Patrick
