Any other guys want to go .Weather looks good they are open 2 till 7 .If you get there early lots of runs are possible.Steve
Also thinking of running a 12.43 with a 1.78 hook today. Nice job big boy! Oh yeah, the mustang ran pretty well too...:3gears:
It was 86 degrees with 88% humidity today. The track hooked real well 1.88 -1.80-1.78and 1.79 sixty foots. The 12.43 was within a hundreth of my best et but that came on a 60 degree day with nearly no humidity last November. Morroco hooks very well every time I go there. Its nice to have 2 good hooking tracks within a 100 miles of me.:3gears:
  When I first read this, I thought it said "...nice to have two nice looking tracks.... I don't recall Morroco being good looking, but it did hook well.
we are trying to get out there the weekend of the 14-15th. We may go Friday, 8/13 eek2 to try to run at night when it's a bit cooler. Gotta get some work done on the AMC first.
I didn't see this till just now. was off friday, took the GT-37 to Byron Dragway on Sat and a local Pontiac show on Sun. I didn't break the car obviously since I took it to a show (saw Jody there btw). Also ran into the guy who brought the 65 GP to Martin this year. I'll be damned if I can remember his name though. Luke, you guys are starting waaaaaay too early on Sc/Rambler work. Wait until labor day at least
Morocco is a straight shot down 41 from my house, 40 miles I think. Haven't been down there in years though. Last time I had the car down there I went thru tech inspection and then it started raining.
with all the small things we are chasing right now, we'll be working on it like we have 3 days to go, all the way up to the drags this thing is possessed.
Luke, you guys make it to 41 last fri? Rain messed up my plans, but surprisingly the water beads pretty nice on the 37's crappy paint job
No we didn't make it. We are still in the process of changing the fuel pump. Not that it is that hard of a project but we started it the weekend before and instead of finishing it we all took our boat out on lake Michigan. That seems to be the problem with this car. It is not the fact that it doesn't have potential but the guys working on it get distracted easily.:bglasses:
Its kinda late to hope anybody else miight make it out but I am going back to Morroco tonight.24% humidity 80 degrees .As good as gets this time of year.:3gears:
My son has a football game tonight or I'd be tempted. Good luck at the track. Should be a good night to run.
cordovan68 just called me. we have a group that is going to a local cruise tonight, so we are out. they are thinking about heading to US41 in a couple weeks though
I think they are just having something called Street Chaos and no T&T that day according to the site. If things go right, Ron and I are going up to test our new set up on Friday evening. Jody
It says all over their website if they are open you can test an tune.My car dos not like a cooled off track it runs best on sunny day conditions or I can't get any traction.Still looking at sunday and will be there when they open and get 4-5 passes and leave before they get real busy.
