Too much Chevy talk in here. How about we change the name to "BUHOGGIN' Regals!" :laugh:

So whats up Roaster? I'm working like a dog. I'm likely to only be at the Nats Sat & Sun. I'm off that week. I gotta hairbrained idea. I was thinking about thrashing on the WC mon-fri that week and having it towed to the nats Sat morning. Would rather race it than the LeSabre. All depends on work though.

I've thought from the VERY beginning that somehow it should've been named "Buick V8 Powered Regal's" or at least something to that effect.:TU:

 

The door is left wide open by the title of this forum, and there is definite lacking a pro-Buick stance here at times. I think a title change is necessary to redirect the focus on Buick power in this forum. :3gears:

 

I agree on the Buick G body idea. We get alot of folks wanting non Buick info and we specialize in Buick engines. Maybe the title will help with that. I know a great moderator for it. His name is Ratroaster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how about a forum for Buick powered Regals and one for Other Powered Regals cause Regals were available with Chevy,Pontiac, and Olds motors the only buick motor offered was a v6 no v8

 

I am not excited about somebody asking about how to put another sbc in a Regal either. However this section needs more volume to keep it interesting. Even questions about sbcs give us a chance to debate or talk to these guys about considering Buick power for their Buick.

Regardless of what motor came from the factory. My focus is BUICK performance. Either through a Buick 350 or 455 on a G-body chasis. I'd like to see a forum focused on strictly Buick power. Quantity of posts is not my concern, but a concentration of Buick powered posts so I can find exactly what I need. :3gears:

 

Hey I have a Regal but it ain't a G-body...
But I agree, we need a g-body forum that focuses on Buick power plants, chassis tuning, etc.

 

It's refreshing to see Buick guys not wanting chevy power in their Regals.
A lot of us Olds guys are the same, and it's seems as though it's a lot harder to put BBB's in a G-body than a BBO is.

Major props to you guys for keeping them Buick powered :TU:

You need to include the V6 Buicks for idiots like me who think there's alot of potential in their urinal motor.

BTW...I'm not anti-Chevy. Its just that they have enough forums throughout the internet to talk all they want about putting Chevies in everything. We need to segragate ourselves and create a new Buick tradition. Buicks in Buicks, and no more damn Chevies in Buicks.

 

It is quite interesting sitting back and reading this thread and I agree whole heartedly this is a buick forum and should be for Buicks and Buick Power. As you can tell by my handle I have a non-buick engine but have learned a lot, had questions answered, and hopefully helped a few in the forums. BUT- I know the forum is for BUICKS and don't bring up any unrelated questions. For those that don't respect the Buick thing - simply ignore it and it will go away.
I do here some insight as to the mixed blood line that the Regal has suffered and a disscision will have to be made as to dis-inherit these buicks or take them under your wing someplace?? I am glad to here that the Salem race is accepting all buicks and I hope to be there and not get beat-up too much.
