Actually, I was just thinking of ice cream and I saw that Donny had a cherry glowing on his side of the tree!!!!!

Donny actually called me to say that he was throwing up a pre-emptive strike. All I can say is that 1st round, I had the best time I have ever thrown at one of these events and Donny walked away --13.39 to 13.26. Second round, Donny had a .069 light, I had a .059 and I slapped another .1 on the 60'. Funny, that round I did not hear those pipes!!!!!!



Last round, Donny said that he was going to do a larger than normal burn out. He put a little benoitment on and went to town. Difficult to see the tree??/

 

Donny I think the problem is were we parked in the pits. Seemed like we were both doing alot of wrenching. Or maybe it's because I should have bolted everything together sooner and tested it before the race.

At any rate I'm parking some place new next year

I was just informed that the great shootout that Donny and I had was considered a non-event?!!!! I am in the corner and slashing my wrist. I could hear Donny chuckling like a mad man when this was announced.

BTW Mr. Brass, how is it you managed to avoid the little Chevy II at Stanton this year, L79 vrs L79?? o No: While I concede your car is THE chick magnet of the two ( though some would debate that, bench seats are still the way to go IMO), I still say the grocery getter is the better car of the two. I still need a third round with you to make it offical. As I recall you squeaked by me in Martin '08 and I managed to avenge that at Martin this year. That leaves us one a piece with the decisive round 3 to go.Keep that in mind all winter long and I'll see you next year my friend. :3gears:
