Gotta clean out the gutters tomorrow, and bring into the house the things I don't want to freeze out in the garage. (Paints, wax etc.) Winterize the mower, and fire up the snowthrower for a pre-snowfall shake down. Winter......we're all doomed.

venting Gee Bruce, How could the poor ole mailman make you have a bad day? You will never know how bad you brusied my delicate feelings. Here's my rant. Haven't had a day off in 13 days,finally get this weekend off. Put in 72 hrs last week and close to 68 this week. And its cold and it gets dark at 5pm
My turn!!! Well, many of you know that I am involuntarily retired from my last job. In February!! Been in the running for several decent jobs in the area recently, only to be picked over for some kid straight out of college, or within 2 years. I have over 20 years experience. Do these idiots think that a guy with a 2 year degree and absolutely no experience is gonna know more than me? I can tell you straight up, no he will not!! Actually it was late when I posted this and i was shoveling some dinner down and reading the mail and playing catch up on V8 here and was looking for examples to use for the vent section . Here I go......... since my wife and I got married a few years ago, we have been renting her house to her son. Out here in NY they have a property tax reduction scheme they call "star" program which saves us about $500 per year on taxes. Well, yesterday she finally got around to changing her old name on their mailing list. So she opens her big mouth and told them we rent the place and guess what........no more discount b/c we don't live there. :rant: Now we have to raise the rent. :rant: :spank: :af:

:rant: Rule of the day: Don't be 4 hours late for a night out with people...especially when you're supposed to be "set up" with one of your friend's buddies. AND, when you get there, don't completely ignore him. Just ACT like you're having a good time. I don;t care if you never look at me again. When you get to the bar 4 hours late, EXPECT me to be pie-eyed by the time you get there. I was told to be there at 7pm. So I was....had dinner while we hung out.. And you waltz in after 11pm and proceed to direct every ounce of your attention to the guy ACROSS from me. Thanks alot. You really made my night. At least I got outta there for less than $20 I just don't understand sometimes. Is it just me? :rant:
