    ..... but the man that introduced me to musclecars aka sports cars passed on Tuesday at the age of 68. He showed me how to identify a 4BBL carburetor when I was in high school. He owned every bit of 10 Corvettes at his passing ... Blue Flames, 435HP cars, etc. He just came down to the shop last week and was BSing with us. What a travesty ..... he was a president of the NCRS, and just an awesome musclecar guy. I go to the visitation in about an hour ...... I have a '58 Vette button hub cap that I am bringing in lieu of flowers ........

    Nothing sounds odd about that to me.
    He was a friend and a mentor, and it's natural to be upset at his passing.

    Everyone should know someone like that in their life.

    They kept the Vette hubcap up for his actual funeral, which I was not able to attend. My parents went to the funeral and said it was still there......
