I had to look, just before going to lunch!

I find it hard to beleive people are bidding on it!
Not just because of the looks of the car, but the feedback rating.

Yea, cause he is the only person who has ever ruined a good car by putting gingantic rims on an old car... :Dou:

The interior is stupid. How can you drive that and think that you are cool.

The speaker install in the doors, yea that doesnt look like poopoo or anything..

I was expecting much worse in the interior. Except for the speaker placement, it wasn't...... that bad.

    Hahahaha

I Know of this car, and man this guy is really something. That picture has to be at least a couple of years old, because the car does not look the same today! And 625 hp????!!!!!, this guy must be smoking what he was dealing...........

Here's the scoop, the car itself isn't all that bad, but the chrome on the front of the car needs to be redone, it was done cheaply to start and is pitted and starting to rust (the header panel ablove the grill especially). The car has never run the 1/4 mile, how can it, it has a truck suspension on it and rides like it has no suspension at all. You can't even get the thing to move when you push on the rear bumper (no squat at all) so I have no idea how this thing could have hooked up to run anything quicker than a 14 flat (and that is being generous!). I feel sorry for anyone who ends up winning this auction, they will be sorely dissapointed......... and this clown will have yet another negative feedback to add to his list.

OOPS, forgot to mention the motor. The motor is stock bottom end with a mild cam, too much head and way too much carb. The bottom end wasn't even checked really well, just a leak down test and removal of a couple of caps to check bearings. The heads were bought used from a racer who had a bad ass set up, but went to a better set of aluminum heads (these are iron heads that perform really well with the right combination). These heads are way too big for the set up, they were on a motor with over 12:1 compression and a huge cam, and are now on a stock bottom end with 8.5:1 cr. They flow way too much and IMHO hurt performance rather than help it.

The poor winning bidder will be sorely dissapointed (that's if they even know anything other than wheel dimensions and speaker quality......... amechanically inclined person would know the motor was bs just by hearing it run for a few seconds). Hopefully no one ends up getting hurt, the actual owner of the car isn't the type of person you would want to have an argument with without the proper authorities around (if you know what I mean :blast: ).

Man oh man. Where to begin...

Out of curiosity, what gansta rap video started this abuse on old cars? Just wondering. They are popping up around Columbus, and I actually laugh, not just smile, when I see these things.

That guys story is 100% crap. 10's? OK, someone do the math and figure out what it takes a boat like that to do even 11 flat. What an idoit. And $8500.00 rims????

    I pitty the next owner...

What the heck is a "speacker"? lol

It's not that horrible, you could always take the rims off, sell them and have enough money to redo all the ugliness.

I wouldn't even sell the rims. I would drive it through a pothole course and ruin them! No other car deserves those nasty rims. :spank:

    simon1243 Got Torque?

if you need to lift your CAR to fit bigger rims on it them you have lost your mind and the rims are way to big!

He may be correct, high 10s is probably a true time, in the eighth mile... notice he did not specify 1/4 or 1/8th.

Look at it this way, you don't have to put it on a lift to work on it. :Dou:

I gotta admit that i like a little bigger wheel on some of the older cars, im planning on either 17's or 18's on my car but only if i can make it look good.
If your car looks like it has 4 wheel drive after installing your wheels then thats just plain wrong. Atleast he didnt put an 8 foot aluminum spoiler on the back.

All I can think when I look at these all too big wheels on any vehicle is that the horses are not under the hood but out in front. I have never had the desire to turn my vehicle into a buckboard.
