I'm just sitting around thinking about what color I wanted to paint my 71 skylark. I'm not going to paint it any time soon. I would like some opinions on these colors. Could you advise what color interior you would pick with the color you picked? I know this is my vehicle and I can paint it whatever color I like, but some of you may have seen this color combo before and know 1st hand it won't work on a skylark.
i would go black insides hard to go wrong with that. i like the burnt orange exterior idea you mentioned.

I'm thinking about going with the candy brandywine paint with a black vinyl top and black rims that match the top. I want to this color combo for the interior. Can somebody help me out with the color?
I have some more colors options I wanted to get some opinions on. My daughters favorite color is purple, so I Googled some purple cars and found some that I kind of like. The guy that will be working on my car built a mustang that is black and orange. I'm kind of liking that color combination. The last picture is the one he built. What do you guys think about these colors.
I 2nd this. Ive heard these refered to as "Chevelle Stripes" and to me , it makes it looks like someone tried to make a Skylark/GS appear as a Chevelle.
I had a truck that was burnt orange with black interior and it looked sharp. Especially with some black wheels. I have to agree with the no racing stripes. I think Buicks look better without them. In the end its what you like best.
the gsx stripe you mean? yeah things like that dont look bad since its correct to the car. rally stripes are right up there with stick on louvers and 24 inch wheels. i see neons and rangers with them anymore.
