It sucked here, all around...we did a food plot behind my little bro's house for the 1st time, and it still didn't help...too many acorns, and too warm. Johnny Cat culled a small doe just so we'd have something to eat, but even my father-in-law in his war paint didn't do any good...oh, but my eldest boy (he's 6) did shoot one...he had his pellet gun in the stand with my father-in-law and nailed a small button buck right in the ribs! He was pretty stoked...but not NEARLY as fired up as when he unwrapped the .22 under the tree...
Rob, I am way older than 6 and I would be stoked to find a gun under my tree! I guess I married too much of a city gal.
