Hi. My 65 Lesabre is coming close to the 100k mark.
Is there a need to replace the timing chain and gears at this point?

my gs had the timing chain & gears replaced at 115000 mi .
it was time . chain was stretched & cam gear was worn .
also , an old champion spark plug was found rattling around in the timing cover .
make the change & save yourself a bundle of $$ in the future .

That is an original experimental (should have an X on it ) factory spark plug! Should be worth at least $100 on ebay.

Thanks for the input I will take care of this over the winter.
It's a nice little motor easy to work on.
