Hello fellas, where can I find a gear on gear timing gear set for a 455 buick?

    Does T/A sell them?

Are you looking for a gear drive? Nobody makes them for BBB. The high end double roller timing chains available will do everything just fine.

FYI, this section is for rear axle/differential/ring & pinion/etc. stuff...

I'm just trying to get that whining type sound which I was told I could get from a gear on gear set up.

    Thanks for the f.y.I.

That's about all they're good for, (if you call that good) unfortunately.

Nope, but a GMC 6-71 supercharger would do it.

Personally I think keeping things quiet under the hood is kinda nice, especially when you're trying to diagnose a strange noise that might otherwise be masked by the sound of square cut gears meshing.

What you do is install a PA system and CB radio and crank up the volume in PA mode, because of the interference from the ignition it will sound exactly the same as a gear drive and you can turn it off too! I am too lazy to go out and get ferrite beads but man if I couldn't turn that sound off I would go mad.
