timing q?

    what are you guys running your initial timing at?and how much total timing and at what rpm?.............thanks

    I am running 16 degrees initial with 32* total all in at 2200 RPM, plus 10 degrees of vacuum advance connected to full manifold vacuum. Adjust your total timing, then see what your initial ends up being.

    14 degrees. A few of full manifold vacuum. MSD timing control until it surges or pings then I back it off a notch or two from the driver's seat.

    depends on cam and compression your using,I run 18 initial 34 total in by 2500 if I go less initial it starts hard obvious start problem if more mine has 10.25 comp with a ta 212s cam :Smarty:
