S10 had window tint on it and I got sick of it. Pulled it off and it left the glue all over my window, clear, but sticky. Auto parts stores had no clue on what to use, said goo gone. This worked ok, more or less seemed to get it soaked then scraped off. Sitting in my truck spaying tons of goo gone when I try some Axe essence body spray (just sitting in my consol) on the window, where it goes into door so if it ruins it, no one will see unless its partly rolled down, it worked about 10x better than the goo gone. Wow, couldn't beleive it. Just sprayed it on, wait like 10-15 sec and wiped off pretty well, not like the infomercial shix. But like 2 wipes it was gone. Doubt that you'll need it as typical buick people are older, im 19, so most of you are way older than me. But its still cool, and a sweet side effecgt, when I drove to the gas station hot chicsk kept rubbing them selfs on my S10!!!

Funny thing is I seem to try all the common things to get off some foreign stuff off something, but usually I get tired of them and try something way off the wall and it worked better.:TU: ...

If you can get some 3M adhesive remover, you'll be very happy with it. Unfortunately I have never found it in retail, only for industrial sales.

They had that at my parts store, really nice place, has pretty much everything you need to build a car, also they like custom unlike autozone and stuff. Anyway it was like 16 bucks, goo gone was borrowed, axe was in my truck!!! Sounds a little creepy.

I use to work at a tint shop. The way we removed glue was simple. Spray a slippery solution (can be substituted with water mixed with a little dish soap) on the remaining glue and scrape it off with a STAINLESS steel razor blade or 0000 steel wool. This is assuming you don't have factory tint under the film on the s-10. If you do, very lightly scrub with the steel wool and spray lots of solution. Good Luck

I've sprayed a thin layer of WD-40, let it sit for a couple minutes, then it came right off with a razor. Final clean up is a rag with some alcohol on it.

    Good luck!

When I removed some window tint from my 'ol Ford Ranger I used Lacquer thinner I had to remove the glue film.
    Few things resist Lacquer thinner.

My son doesn't, but a couple of his friends wear that Axe and my God it's rank!

And that's just from the fumes.. :Brow:
As was stated WD-40 will remove anything that was stuck with adhesive.

Only drawback with using stronger chemicals than the dish soap/water mix is if you plan on retintining that window. Chemical residues from certain chemicals are very hard to completely remove and the new tint job can prematurely fail (bubble up). Another method of removing the glue is to use a steamer and steel wool or stainless steel razor blade.
