Tip of the week.......

    Well as I was trying to figure out how to punch a hole into the rubber cowl seal for Mike Mullens GS, I could not find the paper punch to do this. My body guy told me to take one of the old brake lines from another job we replaced and sharpen it up and use it like a punch thru the rubber into the wood. And presto instant hole the pefect size!!! Anyway thought it was a good idea and I wanted to pass it on..........:beer

    Old bullet cartridges make good punches as well. :TU:

    Just remove the projectile and the primer and the powder first. Might end up with a bigger hole than you wanted and a hole in something you didn't want a hole in.:rant: :rant:

    Yes, just use the brass!!! I figured someone reading this would be smarter than that :Dou: . But you never know!

    It does make a perfect hole in gasket material

    I've heard that it is a result of overexposure to lacquer thinner fumes.:moonu:
