Tire Buy!!

By popular demand, I am going to run the Kelsey tire Goodyear tire buy. It will be for a limited time only (I am going to stop Labor day weekend). Here is how it works:

1) Contact me via this thread with the size, number, and type of tire that you want to purchase. Also include your zip code so that I can get an accurate shipping cost. (You can PM me with your zip code if you are shy).

2) I will contact Kelsey to find out final price, shipping cost, and availablity and I will them PM you with that total plus the organization fee for doing this. I will also send you my cell number so that we can communicate.

3) If everything sounds good, you send me a check. Once the check clears, the tires will be sent.

If there are any questions, please contact me and I will explain whatever questions you have.

Thanks to all of those that participated last year. I hope that this can help out.

I have a need for two sets of bias ply tires. What brand and model tires are the racers with the good 60ft times using? Is there a noticable difference in purestock drag performance between brands?

For Pure Stock racers, you have to use the stock size tire. For FAST, I believe that you can go 1 letter size larger. Please verify with the rules you are looking at. I have heard that guys are getting some great times out of both brands. (How is that for a non commetial answer?)ou: My car has started getting into the 1.9's which is better than my radials ever did. Contact me via PM if you have more questions.

Do you want 4 or 5 of each and a question about the F60-15, which car are they going on? They have 2 different designs, one with no size in the RWL (correct for the '69 Hurst/Olds and '69 Boss 429 Mustang) and the one that has the size listed in RWL (correct for 70 1/2 and beyond). Looks good Tom. Lots of Vinylex cleaner/protectant in the blue spray bottle and a stiff nylon tire brush does a good job in removing the mold release.
