Hey guys i just mounted some 275/50/15 BFG drag radials on the 72. While test driving her, i heard a several bump sound coming from the right side. I later inpected and found that the passenger side wheel had experienced a little shredding on the side from hitting the lip; normal driving is good though. What would be my next simplest solution other that avoiding speed bumps and pot holes.

Tighten up your suspension.Sway bar,air bags, boxed control arms, add air to tires and take it easy on the clover leafs. If that doesn't do it consider the age of your springs and shocks .:Smarty:

    trim the trim!

assuming you have the stainless trim on your wheel well, if you feel with your fingertip you will find the screwed on trim is wider then the sheet metal, possibly by as much as 1/4 inch. you can remove the trim and CAREFULLY narrow it with snips to get additional clearnace onthe outside.

You may have some rear control arm bushings that have seen better days:laugh: This allows the body to move side to side excessively. Check the bushings.
