This car is Todd Benders 70 Buick GS 455 Stage One original bench seat car that we converted to a drag car and I race it.
I was racing a 66 Buick Special and it needed an engine fresh up but the frame broke from the launches and I decided to get another car. I met Todd through another racer and told him that I need a Buick to race. He said I got an original GS455 car in his garage that we could use to race! When I looked at it it was black, alot of dust on it and it had a Holley three barrel on an Offy intake and fender flares. He said can you use it? I said yes but those fender flares have to go. He didn't like that but we got rid of them.
    Here's some pics.
    Qickest time in the 1/4 10.77 @ 122 mph

Yea that's with 200 lbs in the trunk trying to slow it down to 11 flat for index class. It's hard to slow a Buick down especially when you're feeding it Q16 fuel!

    Badass ride!
Do you have any troubles with the crankcase ventilation connected to the headers?

It works great! At first I had the vents at the back of the valve covers and Fred said you got the valve covers on backwards and after I thought about it if they are at the back they could suck oil when going down the track.
I want to try the vacuum pump and see how much horespower that makes.
I run this stock block Buick to it's end so anything to help power without blowing it up would be great.
It needs freshened up though. It's been about 5 or more years of straight racing.

Was it a complete Ventilation setup you used on the engine? I also need to do this on my engine.

I just have the evacuation kit that goes from the valve cover breathers to the headers. You can buy that kit with everything you need. You may have to cut out the hole in the valve covers and buy groments if the kit don't come with them and make sure you put the breathers in the front of the valve covers so they don't suck oil. You will have to buy hose at the hardware store to connect them. I use clear hose. The headers you will cut a hole in the collector part of them and weld the pipe in on an angle to create suction. I think the kit comes with instruction or you can find it on the net somewhere. In this pic you can see the left side breather and hose.
