It's not for the faint of heart, but it is doable. This question gets asked a lot, and some folks will tell you don't even think about, and some will say go for it. Personally, I did mine and I didn't think it was too hard. No, it was not show car perfect, but it looked pretty decent. Just a few minor wrinkles. As far as I was concerned, a whole lot better that paying someone to do it. It took two solid weekends; removal and paint the frame the first, and install the new top the second.
