Top stainless peice off 67 GS

Looking for a nice straight top stainless peice off a 67 GS or Special Grille.

I got the grille dug-out finally. There is no damage or dents on the facing. one end appears to have 3 small crimps on the top. it is in the area that keeps it secured to the plastic. i will get a couple pics this week-end. Gary

George I think the top and bottom SS on the 67 gril is the same. I have not looked at the one's I have off my grill for a long time but am thinking they are the same. Maybe someone else can answer. Thanks Bill.

 

Bill i think they are different,it lists as 2 different part #s in my book.

Just looked at mine and they are so close to identical that you could probably make em work. The only difference I see is at the ends. The top has the very edges folded up at a 90 degree angle about a 1/16 of an inch. That could be cut off or bent flat to work on the bottom. A bottom piece should work on the top without modification.
