I am looking at replacing my torque converter on a 72 Gs 350 . Does anyone know what the stock stall speed would be.
    Appreciate any help.
    Thanks

What's your combo? Jim Weise supplied my son one for his 455 ci mild street combo. Works great!

Was a basic rebuild on engine with upping the compression to 9.5 and a Ta 112 cam. I’m Having the trans rebuilt and trans guy telling me I should replace torque converter because they do go bad. I would like to stay close to original. I just have no idea what the original stall speed might be.

I’m looking to get a new one as well, and have similar setup to you. I have been looking at a 2200-2600 to get it in the torque range for a little off the line. With the 112 cam power range starts at 1100 rpm so any stall converter over 1700+rpm should be good to go. Original is about 1600-2000 rpm stall.
