Does anybody know of a company that makes the flat center caps for American Racing Torque Thrust wheels? I've seen this look in a bunch of the car magazines lately and would like to find a set to try. I'm not sure if it is something that I will have to have custom machined or can find a supplier so any assistance would be appreciated. Mike
Try Ebay. There is a guy that puts them on there. Like the kind on the Chevelle in Popular HotRodding.
Try calling American Racing. I was able to buy caps directly from them cause no one local carried what I needed. Not as expensive as you would think either.
Nope never did. There is a company that makes them for the older style torque thrust wheels. I think a buddy of mine is going to try and make a set for me.
Yeap that's the company I contacted. They said their caps only work on the older Torque Thrust wheels not the new ones.
I found what I was looking for from Newstalgia Wheel. They are almost flat with about a quarter inch dish. I also find the flat ones on Ebay but they were polished which I didn't want. Here are a couple of pictures. I think they look alot better than the stock center caps
bigz what is the model of those wheels. i like the black spokes. i have a silver vette with black conv top. i think those wheels would look good on the silver and match the top. thanks jim
I have a set of Eagle Alloy 211s (torq thrust knockoffs), and I just painted the spokes myself. They are on my black GMC Jimmy, and they look awesome, much like on the Buick pictured above. P.S. I love the all blacked out look on your Buick. Very sleek and evil looking. -Josh
The wheels are American Racing Torq Thrust D's. The centers were painted black as Josh described. Thanks for the compliments. Mike
Yeap this car stuff is expensive. That one did set me back a little bit but I got a screaming deal on my wheels so in total I with the paint I have about 800 bucks in my wheels which is alot less than many custom wheels I've found and I like the looks of these a lot
