Weight of the trailer and the dimensions.....And it has an escape door what size is it and also how high from the floor is it to accommodate Car Door opening? Where in Kentucky?
24 ft long (does not include hitch) 8.5 ft wide. GVW is 7000 lbs. That would be with the original 3,600 lb. axles. Now has 5,200 lb. axles. 55” tall x 48” wide side door. 11.250” from bottom of door to floor. I am near Elizabethtown, Ky. Thanks, John
John, I need the actual weight of the trailer, not the GVW and thanks very much for getting back with me, I am interested still, just need to know if its too heavy for my rig. Also, does the trailer have brakes?
I have never weighed the trailer. I don’t know if Sam did. I looked on Pace Trailer website. They no longer make this style. I looked at the specs for an enclosed trailer that was 24 ft. It showed 3160 lbs. curb weight. This trailer is probably similar to that. You would need at least a 3/4 ton truck. All trailers this large have brakes at each wheel. Thanks, John
Off topic, but my Daughter, and family live there, near the college. If we get back down, I'll shoot ya a PM.
