Please I need some info. I am putting a 350 chevy with 350 tranny into a 64 buick skylark. I need to know where to get new transmission lines that will go from the 350 tranny to the original radiator that has the lines in the bottom tank? Thanks

I'm working on a replacement line for my TH400. I found that NAPA has straight 5 foot lengths of 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and other size brake line (same as tranny line) with fittings and flares installed at both ends. With a flaring tool and a brake line bender (check out e-bay) you can bend your own and cut/reflare to fit. I believe that all these items are less than $10 ea.

Repro pre bent lines with correct fittings are readily available from companies like Classic Tube and In-Line Tube. Why waste time bending your own? However mickey mousing non Buick engines into your car may lead to fittment problems.

I don't see any prebent stuff for 72 Rivieras except partial brake line kits for the rear axle. I suppost I could send In-Line my original to use as a template... except that the previous owner trashed the radiator end trying to get it off. I'd probably do a better job matching what I need with the car readily available to test fit...

I imagine it'd be the same doing a custom install.

They don't have anything for the big cars, but they do for the A bodies. I had to buy a universal kit from Classic Tube last year to replace the ones on my LeSabre. I bent them using the old ones as patterns. It turned out perfect. Just take your time.

Hold the comments about the FRAM oil filter. I've heard it a few...hundred times already.

I bet if you call those places they could bend lines for rivieras. They have the blueprinst for most lines.
