Tranny line location on radiator

I have a 69 GS400. Question, what is the proper distance between the automatic tranny lines where they mate to the radiator? 12 inches or 8 1/2 inches?

I just got a 4 row replacement radiator. I know I have to hog out the upper bushings to fit the wider core.

There are 2 sets of holes (tranny line holes) on the right tank. Total, 4 holes. The very top one is capped off. The distance from the very top one that is capped off and the very bottom one which is open, is 12 inches. The distance between one of the center ones which is open and the bottom one is 8 1/2 inches. Can I use the ones that cam open at 8 1/2 inches, or do I need to plug that center one up and unplug the top one to get 12 inches?

The places that sell these things are all over the map with varied information. Half the time, they have no clue what they are selling.

    Question 2

What are the inlet and outlet hose neck dimensions supposed to be? The one I bought said they were 1 9/16, but clearly, on the one I got, only the bottom (outlet) neck was 1 9/16. The inlet was something like 1 5/16 or 1 3/8 or something. Is this correct and he just mislabled the dimensions on the auction?

    ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED

Come on man, there's like 8,000 members and nobody knows the tranny line centers on a radiator for a 69 GS?

Well Ken I dont own a 69 GS anymore, but I do own a 69 Riviera. I can tell you that the Riviera uses the larger span for the trans cooler. I thought it was 12.5 inches, but it could be 12. I take it that this is a somewhat universal style GM radiator that is meant to fit a few different models? When you drop the radiator in, where do the trans cooler lines fall? I would think that they would just line up with two of the four holes? As far as the upper/ lower bushings, I bought 4 core style bushings from one of the Pontiac GTO catalogs. The rubber "studs" ( I have a different name for them) were a little off from the Buick holes, but fit no problem.
