got a problem in my drivetrain, first off i put another rear, in my 69 chevelle, after blowing the old one :Dou: , okay old one single, while the one i put in is posi, okay all new stuff in this rear, pads, shocks, wheel cylinders, new fluid, por-15'd painted looks brand new(the whole 9 yards) now i know i checked the rear, and there was no slop, the inside looked great (even re-torqued the carrier blots to chilton's spec's) ever since i did this swap (about 6-8 weeks ago) i been having a clicking sound problem, i would hear something click, hitting the brakes sometimes, pulling the tranny into drive(like its clicking into gear, i can feel it, it feel's like slop in the drive tran) also when it shifts, it sometimes makes the same sound (like a clicking sound, like somethings sloppy and it grabs), then i checked the universals and the driveshaft, everything looked fine, and the tranny doesn't slip, oh also i think i felt the same clicking sound while I'm driving (costing) then as soon as i get back into the gas it does the click sound (sometimes)

i don't get it, nothing broke down tho (good thing) i don't know what the sounds coming from

    rearend

probably your clutches sticking in your rearend make sure you have posi additive in rearend.usually clutches only hang up after doing donuts or beating the car. thats what mine did. Ray
