so i was told that i could hook up my tranny temp gauge to the drivers side of my trans. there was a little 1/8" plug about 2 inches back and 2 up from the shifter linkage. anybody ever use this as a spot for their gauge? is it a good or bad spot to use? thanks curtis

That's where I'm putting one on my F350.

Not sure about that location...in general it's recommended that you plumb into the return line near the trans in order to see the after effects of the trans cooler.
