Trans brakes

    Just out of curiousity. What trans breaks do you think is best. Application is stage2 464, T400 (reverse valve body 4500 stall) in a 78 skylark. Looking for oppinions Car ran 10.51 with the driver getting out of it twice. once on the top end and once on the big end. I also placed this here because of the race application.

    I use Turbo Action. I hear JW is also good. My trans guy says stay away from TCI.

    Phil, I've used a Turbo Action too and never had any problems with it. You can get it from Summit Racing too. I got mine when they had a 10% off sale. Nelson :)

    trans brake

    I've used an ART CAR trans brake in my car for 5 years and it works great and has never failed me. We have built several 400's with B&M brakes and have had no complaints and we just built a rollerized 400 for Jerry (gotbuick) in WA with a hipster brake,the quality looks good but we will have to see how it works for him.Chris
