trans crossmember mounting brackets

    Does anybody make these for a 70 skylark convertible? They're the metal brackets that bolt the trans crossmember to the frame (not the insulators, but the metal pieces over them). The ones I've got are rotted.

    You can buy those new for $20/pr from www.opgi.com
    Look in their Cutlass catalog. Don't know why they
    have a Buick part in a Cutlass catalog.

    Thats weird. I called OPG today and soon as I described the part to the guy he immediately said they didn't have them. Are you referring to OPG part number KR00553? Those are listed at $60/pr.

    I did some hunting after I started this thread and the parts place has them listed at $39/pr.
