In my 69 Buick I have a three on the tree. I am looking forward to getting a 4 speed. I was wondering if that is too much of a hastle and roughly how much it would run me?

Any answers or comments would help.

A four speed should pretty much bolt into place in place of the 3 speed. You will need to go to a floor shifter. You'll need to cut a hole in the floor for the shifter.
How much? that's a loaded question, depends how much the 4 speed runs you and how much someone charges you to do the flor mods for the shifter. Jim Burek

    4 speed on tree

A four speed on the tree would be pretty mest up. The reason i wanted a four speed because its slower shifting into second because the distence is so far away. It just slows me down if i do a little race.
