Tray thingy under the radiator/condensor?

Underneath the radiator & condensor, there is some sort of metal pan/tray. I don't know what it's called, but when you disconnect the tranny lines, this is the tray where the tranny oil drips to. I'm not sure if this is properly called the lower radiator support, but that does kinda describe it.

A while back, my '68 Sportwagon kinda had an "oops" with a rather stationary object, and now I am trying to repair the front end damage. I took the front bumper off yesterday, and this tray has broken loose and is just hanging. It doesn't appear to have been bolted on, maybe kinda lightly welded on the end to the vertical part of the front clip.

So, how do I re-affix this? Was it welded?

That is just the lower part of the core support.

Okay, good to know. Any idea how to re-attach it? I am guessing I'll need a welder at this point, but maybe there is a clip or something that I can't find (broken).

    Thanks,

The lower radiator C-channel is spot welded in the corners. Your was probably welded poorly from the factory. Easy fix! Find someone with a MIG welder and in 1-2 minutes, you problem will be solved.
