http://www.trishieldperformance.com/prod04.htm Any reason one of the Tri Shield billet fuel pumps would not work out (as opposed to a return-type electric pump system) for a 600 HP street/mostly-strip Buick? Click on the link to see what I'm talking about. I personally prefer the symplicity of a mechanical pump like this, providing these pumps are as reliable as stock type mechanical fuel pumps. I see that it's a little expensive, but that appears to be the only downside to me. Is anyone out there using one? How has it worked out for you? As always, thank you in advance for your help.
I have one too in my convertible. No fuel problems for me. There are not many mechanical fuel pumps in the high HP range, and I'd rather spend with JW.
iwould have one but nobody answered phone, return calls or emails. so went another route .have heard nothing but good things about them.
Not trying to be a fan boy but.........I have e-mailed, pmed Jim atleast 50 times and he has never taking more than a day to get back to me. His customer service IMO is just outstanding.
Hey, i dont have anything against him.i know people get busy too, i run my own business and know how things can get mixed up. **** happens, and if i have a need for his services i would try to contact him again. just sayin....
Barry, Sorry to hear that you could not get ahold of me... that's the first time I have heard of such a thing, with using all the available resources.. my email is jim@trishieldperformance.com Or PM me here on the board.. Those are the most reliable ways to get ahold of me, I get 8-10 sales calls a day on my phone, so I don't really even flinch when it rings, unless I am standing right in front of it, and can see the caller ID.. Once again, sorry we were not able to get together on this. JW
X3:TU: I received great service when I was rebuilding my Tranny and I also have the Billet fuel pump and it works great.
