Trip odometer reset for '63 Electra

OK, I see the thread about the Riv. How about the reset for my '63 Electra? Ken

Found the reset, it seemed like they tried to hide it! Anyway it reset, but still doesn't work...oh well. Ken

 

The cable may be bound up, or the rubber boot may be rotating on the shaft. Try to take the boot off and turn it with pliers while pushing in. If that doesn't work, you can take it loose and let it hang straight back from the speedo and see if you can work it, if the cable is kinked.
