I "think" the panel that goes from the bottom of the trunk pan to the back side of the rear quarter panel is the same for all A-bodies???? Let me know if someone has verified this. Thanks!

No they are not, George. We tried to use Chevelle pieces on my ragtop, they were an inch too short and shaped wrong at the back. Ended up making our own. I'm not sure but I don't think anyone is makig them for our 70-72 GS's yet...(haven't looked for over a year, I'm done in that area).

Others might be closer?? No idea.

Just got one from Goodmark. It was in the Buick section but when I got it it has Chevelle on the sticker. Anyway not even close, ended up making a patch with it. Not sure if the problem was SS vs GS or hardtop vs ragtop

That was my concern. PPI lists that panel and I could not find that item listed on Goodmark's site or Tabco or Sherman&Associates. I will get a parts car and cut off the parts I need from it. Thanks for your input. You have saved me time and money with your replies. :beer

    George,
The quarter panels for every a-body are different at the bottom, so there is no way the trunk drops can be the same.

Don't bother with OPG'S either...All I got was grief from them when I wanted to return them and the piece was eventually hacked up for a patch kit.Cost me 67 bucks for the totally wrong part and they wanted me to pay a restocking fee,So this ended my purchasing from them ever again.Lesson learned...

    George,

I think Shermans has them for the buick. I remember researching this when I put my rear 1/4's on. They list a different part number for the Skylark vs. Chevelle.

Ok, I have an old catalog and will see if their website shows that item for Skylark. I really don't want to cut up another car just for the two panels and a small portion of the outer wheel well lip on both sides. I did this before on a rust free 70 Skylark and it was a lot of work.

Trying confirm what is close for the outer wheel house lip. I am going to compare the Skylark stainless trim to my Cutlass and see how "close" they are to each other.

Just checked www.shermanparts.com and they do carry the Skylark panel for $62 each. Part numbers are 668-61L and 668-62R
