I had a friend call asking the location of the wing that goes on the trunk.
He has a 70 Skylark conv and he's putting a wing on it. Can somebody tell me how far from the sides and how far from the end of the lid the holes need to be drilled. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Bob,

The rear edge of the spoiler is flush with the downward turn of the quarter extension. And the pedestals have a natural curve in them that fits body line in the trunk lid. Enclosed is a photo.
Does he know the rear spoilers do not fit the convertible quarter panels? The angle of the sides of the spoiler is different than the conv. quarter angle. It will be pretty obvious once its resting on the lid that it just doesn't look right.

Thanks for the replies Dave and George. George I agree on the border stripes
the wide stripes look good. Dave I gave my buddy Ricks number so I think he is in good hands for future info and he lives in Tacoma not to far from Rick:TU:

Is there a way to modify a 70 wing to look good on a convertible? The wing on my car looks to be off a firebird, not good.

    Thanks
