As you may have seen from past post that I had decided to have Scotty do my motor and have spoken with him whenever I could on the phone. It hasn't been an easy task though to reach him, I'm sure he's a very busy person especially in his line of work but as you can imagine I'm quite anxious to get my motor build started since I have saved money and accumulated all these high performance goodies over the past three years. I'm trying to set up a meeting so that he can approve my plans or guide me in whatever direction he feels will best suit my needs. Anyway my question is, is he usually hard to reach for those who have used him, I dont want to keep calling and leaving messages, I'm no stalker, and does anyone know if he has email so that I could send him my plans that way? My initial planned meet was only to go over the plans and establish when I could bring him all the parts. Else I was looking into that builder, stage 1 automotive in New Jersey also if Scotty was to busy. Please let me know about Stage 1 quality and or should I just sit patiently for Scotty. Of course once whoever gets the motor I do want them to take their time and do everything correctly, I dont want to rush that, I just want to get my project off the ground. Allen allioop108@aol.com
Allen: You've picked between a couple of the best for your build, you wouldn't be disappointed either way. Not sure how to get ahold of Scotty, but I'm sure some fellow NY folks can connect the dots and get you two together. Dave
Allen, Scotty is an extremely hard person to get a hold of for anyone. Just keep on leaving him messages every couple of days and he'll eventually call you back. That's the only real advice I can give you. A friend of mine got in touch with him a week ago and he said he's been swamped. If you want the best, unfortunately you have to be patient with. BELIEVE ME, I know where you're coming from.
What number are you using to leave messages for him? If you want, I can MAKE him call you the next time I'm down there. If I have to choke him a little, you may have to buy me lunch for breaking a sweat. Why don't you e-mail me your info and I'll smack him around a little bit for you and make him call. Oh and it's not P&G, it's PeeGee! As in Pat Guadagno, Scotty's dad.
Musi??? Last I heard Scotty worked for Pat Musi..things change??? Another rumor was Musi was movin down south to NC...vicious or true???....fish
Nope, he's still at Musi's. The Carolina thing may still happen. I don't know if Pat's decided yet. If Musi moves, that would just speed up Scotty's move to Florida. He plans to move down there when his kids are a little older. I figure another five years or so.
Hey Doug, what did Scotty do with all his stuff he had in Bklyn?all the machines and stuff?his parents moved down there from he had told me last. Thanks
We've found that swearing and calling him names gets him to call back real quick. "Hey F'er!" seemed to work the best You can try Doug's method... call say a few words,,, hang up...call back say a few more words.... keep repeating it until your done with what you have to say or his mail box is full  Best way for you though would probably be either buy Doug lunch and he'll get Scotty to call you... or every few days call and leave a message. The name calling might not work out in your favor o No:
Sold a few and his dad has the rest of them set up in the commercial building on their property in Fla.
Scotty called me back the same night that I left my post. Yes it seems that he is very busy but he didn't forget about me. I guess thats a good sign his being busy and all, means people really must love his work. Anyway we went over more details of my proposed build up. I hope to get him all my parts asap and told him to take his time on the job. I want a real nice job done even if I have to wait on it. So now I'm wondering what's going to happen if and when he goes to Fla. Will there be any other good buick engine builders besides Stage 1 automotive on the east coast. I sure hope someone is paying close attention and will be able to take over if and when our main buick guys leave. Heck i wish I could be the one doing some killer buick motors. Do any of you board members do your own motors or motors for other people, not talking about JW or JB here, just the regular ole members? Allen allioop108@aol.com
If he called you back the night you left your post, I'll bet a TRILLION dollars he read your post on the board and decided he oughta call you back. A TRILLION!! Here, I'll give it a try: Scotty, give me a call. I want to know if you've figured out what we need to order to fix my motor. You know, the list you've been talking about for two months now! I'm waaaiiiittnngg!! ou:
I am new to this site and never heard of any buick guy in brooklyn.I am shure nobody wants their # put out there but i would love to talk to this scotty person.I mean if he can get the enterprise to do warp speed maybe he can get buick to do the same. any help would be greatly and erernally greatfull.I have a well known guy in brooklyn who works on rods and he knew certain things i asked him about buicks, like the oiling stuff and he knew all of it.But to have a dedicated buick guy would be great.

doug does scotty mind you telling people what area in Fla he'll be going to? my father lives over on the treasure coast area next to the Sebastian exit on I-95.
East Coast, somewhere that's not too far from Orlando Speed World. He goes to the "World Street Nationals" race every year plus I think he likes that track too. I don't think he's picked out a FLA location for "PeeGee Motorsports" yet.
