:TU: :TU: :TU: :TU: Took the Ramrod out for the first run of the year today. Totally awesome. The low area in the swamp (where I blasted through the flood last year) has been built up, and very nice fresh coat of asphalt now has a few really nice double stripes from the Polyglas. Sure there'll be more by the end of the weekend. It's kinda like male dogs pissing on a bush!  Thanks to Donny and Paul for swapping out the M21 for the M20 last weekend. I know how to launch it again without the bog. Even on the street with 30 psi in the tires! Fun. :3gears: :3gears: :3gears: 38th year of getting it out from winter storage. Still gets the heart thumping! :bglasses:
Congrat's Dave, you just voided the warranty on the trans install, I can now get a good night's rest :beer
   You guys do good work. Remembered to fill it with oil and appears the side plate isn't leaking anymore. Thanks to the big guy for that. Changed engine oil and put in some 20W50 Torco racing oil Ii found out back. Definitely need that Powermaster high torque starter. Takes a while to get the full oil pressure up. I'm used to things like that at my age, though.
Well, I am glad it is working...we had a ball spending a day in "Olds World" :TU: I guess this means I have to call you out, just to fill my dance card :Brow:
Isn't that a great feeling? Every spring I'm amazed at how in just six months I could've forgotten what real throttle response is! :3gears:
With the trans change, that would probably be a good race. Hoping to get my car back comfortably in the thirteens again. You guys are welcome in Olds World any time. Brian: Have you ever experienced the feel of a tricked up turbo diesel at about 80 MPH? That's fun, too.
