I probably have this , but anyone that repairs collumns should have it . Try the yellow book , See if you have anyone near you that repairs collumns . Most bigger cities have a problem with stolen cars and that makes the niche for the small businessman
Ill try that, but they have to get one from somewhere dont they? Only reason I say that is because they arent available in the parts stores either.
ANyone know what years interchange with 68 , I am thinking these are different than 70-72 since the key moved to the collumn . Part number or picture of this part . John

Keith, That one will not work since it has wiring for cornering light. Local yard here has a 68 LeSabre. I think the cancel cam should be in good condition. I think 67-68 only will interchange. As John stated 69 was different due to key in the column design. Please email me direct by Fri, 11pm Eastern. Will be at the yard on Sat. GStage1@buickperformance.com
Thats not it. Its round, fits over the steering shaft, has two prongs on it and a brass contact plate for the horn.
Capt, Can you add at least your first name to your signature line???? Did you read my previous post??? Can you provide a pic of your current cancel cam? I will be at the yard on Sat and if the pic your provide matches the one from the 68 LeSabre, I can get it. Time for you to decide.
Okay, here are top and bottom pics of my cancel cam, you can see from the pics that it is broken, it is missing the chute for the horn contact. This is out of a 1968 Skylark Special Deluxe, standard column, no tilt, no key. All the yards in my area are gone now except for one, and they dont have any. There used to be so many yards around here, I cant believe they are gone, its just not right.
Ok, will see if the 68 LeSabre has a nice one. Please email me direct GStage1@buickperformance.com Thanks!
Did you try Advance auto? They sell these for 70-72 cars and they are about 30 bucks. Not sure about the 68, but you should try them out. Bob
