I forgot how funny this stuff was! Could Harvey Korman ever keep a straight face when Tim Conway was around? Anyway, Its on all day. Sketch comedy sure was funny before it turned into 90% sex gags.
Quality TV Can't tell you how many nights my wife and I are flipping through the channels looking for SOMETHING decent to watch, and one of us will comment how much we wish one of the networks had a show like Carol Burnett to watch! The days of TV shows that don't insult your intelligence are long gone i'm afraid. :rant:
You just had to mention it, didn't you. Now you got me started!:af: I think it all sucks, there just isn't anything descent on tv to watch. You would think that since so many people feel this way there would be some changes. I always watch the Seinfeld reruns, but those are all based on sex too. At least they are funny. One episode even had a '69 Buick in it.:grin: Here's a good show. Watch "American Dreams" on Sunday nights at 8:00 on NBC. It's probably the only family show left, and it's good. I like the fact it takes place in the early sixties, that theme is what makes that show so interesting to me. I was just a kid back then.:Brow:
That show would be an exception. :TU: A well written show with many different, and interesting story lines.
I used to like watching the news....cnn, headline, MSNBC and fox.....now all they talk about is M. Jackson, Kobe Bryant, Laci Peterson, etc, etc same old crap over and over and over again until you can't take any more.:rant: When it gets to the point they have to have a full time panel of experts who disect everything and put it under a microscope night after night it's time to change the channel. Headline news has also changed a lot since the beginning, they changed their format and I no longer watch that either. The Leave it to Beaver reruns are still on though!:laugh:
