Im sure this has been discussed but i couldn't really find what i wanted to know in the search results. i have a 64 lesabre wagon and it has the original engine (original 13,000 miles on it to) it runs really good so i don't want to do a rebuild on it yet. should i be putting a lead additive in the fuel? what would happen if i stopped? i have heard you really don't need it if your not hot rodding around and or towing. Is this true.

    thanks guys

Since the engine is broken in it may be unnecessary. For the lead additive, use some 100LL Avgas from you local airport in a 5 gallon can from time to time to ease your mind.
