I would like to alter the stance of the 72 lark, would you suggest lowering the front or lifting the rear? I would like to at least like to have it level if not a little higher in the rear.Any suggestions, springs, shocks. Thanks Luis

I'm also interested in seeing what all people have to say. I was thinking the same, that it would look nice with a slight frontward lean. I was figuring eibach springs would lower it all about an inch all around, and then a larger diameter rear tire would look meaty, and lift the rear, but pics would really help envision how something like that would look.

My 71 has rear air shocks pumped to 90psi. This works for me!

I put eibachs on my 72 lark with small block and it lowers it way to low center crossmember is about 4 1/2 inchs of the ground and Iam planing on a 455 as sone as I get my heads back from the head shop might have to change the front springs

I was considering the same alteration....right now my car is awaiting its fresh 455 install...so it is hard for me to tell what it will look like with the new BBB in it.

My rear springs are kinda shot and it sits low...however i think with taller and bigger tires in the back with a big block up front it might look perfect.

I like lower all around so if i were you i would lower the front if anything ...giving it that raked look.

If i get my done before you choose your set up i will post some pics....it might be awhile though....

    Anybody else have pics?

I put in new springs in my 71 Skylark that give it a 3-4" lift in the rear. JC Whitney carries them. I used to have air shocks but didn't want the tires to rub if they sprung a leak. Didn't like the stiff ride also. Has a nice rake to it and didn't have to drop the front. I'd post a pic but I'll have to get more posts in.
