Okay, so I'm thinking of buying an MSD Pro Billet distributor w/ the 6A ignition and the Blaster 3 coil. This thing doesn't have vacuum advance on it. My 455 is going to be a street car. What should I do? Get the Mallory Unilite distributor w/ vacuum advance? Thanks!

Any Street car should have vacuum advance IMHO. Most of the time is spent driving at part throttle, and vacuum advance enhances throttle response and gas mileage. Why would you want to buy an MSD billet distributor when you can take any points distributor and send it to the ignitionman. He will rebuild it to be better than new, install an MSD magnetic pickup that will plug right into the 6A, set up the advance curve, and adjustable vacuum advance, all for under 150.00. Go to www.davessmallbodyheis.com and read up on the conversion. That is the way to go. I have one of Daves distributors in my car. Best money I ever spent.
