how many inches of vacuum must a vac modulator receive to operate correctly? my 462 puts out 10.50" at 6500 feet.could this cause a malfunction of the vac modulator? Thanks.kenny62
Not a malfunction, but you should be using the small brass adjustable modulator. There are 2 main types, single red stripe, and dual red stripe. I like to turn the adjustment in 2 or 3 turns for later firmer shifts.
