These parts are at a local sale in my area. The non gs hood is a stock 69 Skylark and appears to be decent. The doors are for a hardtop. The doors are hard to see the way they are stored in the garage. It did see a rust hole at the bottom front inside part but the rest of the door looked decent. They have the glass in them. I would say they can be restored. What are these parts worth? Thanks, Bob
Hoods are very hard to sell, and ship. The doors would probably be easier, and the internals including glass fit othe GM A bodied cars. 1969 only though.
Doors unless straight and rust free don't bring much rusted door $50 to $100. Skylark hood also better be really solid and straight and you will be lucky to get 100 to 200 for it and it will need to be a local sale. Be prepared to sit on them awhile until you find someone in need. Just my .02 cents.
Yeah I figured the stuff is hard to sell. I had a 68 hood back 10 years ago that I got 75 for it and had to bring it out to Carlisle to get rid of it. Maybe I will offer the price of scrap metal for it on Sunday. There is a chance a friend of mine might get the clean out and get the stuff for free but I would have to split the price that I get for the stuff. Seems like if I get it will be a while before it sells. Plus it takes up a lot of room. On the other hand I would hate to see it get scrapped. Thanks for your replies, Bob
