I'm in the process of bolting my 455 together and I have just installed the roller rockers. From what I can see on the cam suppliers website is zero lash hot. Now how the hell do I set that with a new set of lifters, new cam, new pushrods, and new rockers? Let me guess, preheat oen to 250 degrees and bake for 2 hours, basteing often. I really don't want to screw up the cam during breakin and I'm guessing misadjusted valves wouldn't be the best thing during the break in cycle. Anybody know how to do this?

    NJBuickRacer I'd rather be racing...

About 75 thousandths preload for a flat tappet cam, 50 thou for a roller is a good place to start.
