Pulled the stage 1 out today and it reminded me of the small problem I didnt get around to fixing last year. The car idles great, runs smooth just driving it around 3/4 throttle to full. But when I flog it all the way it seems to die off and on mildly at the upper rpm range. I had filled it up last year with Cam2 fuel (110). After I fueled it, this all seemed to happen then. I also was told that a few other people had water in there gas from this same station the same week I got fuel. Then storage time came and oopppsss forgot about it. I am trying to get ready for the Pure Stock Drags this upcoming weekend so I don't have time for me to trial and error. Looking for any help. This same problem has to of happened to other people Im sure . I tried plugs last year before storage. Could this be 5 year old valve springs or fuel related.
Does it do it all the time? Mine would pull hard for about 1/8th, then start loosing power above that. Turned out to be a fuel filter with a check valve in it.
